I Will Be Around If You Feel Lonesome

When the sun falls down and gone

And a night seems to be creeping on

You might feel that you are all alone

All alone in this world, so lonely on your own

You might need a friend to be around

To feel contented and to feel safe and sound

Call on me and I will be there at your side

Chatting and talking to you though I’m on hide

Cause’ you know I will be there around you

I will be next to you and will comfort you

I will take your hand and say I care

You are a special one, you’re so dear

I will keep the moment alive, I promise I will do all right

And together we will survive, through the lonesome night

I will be around if you feel lonesome

Nowhere to go, all alone on you own

Yes I will be at your side

And I will just stay beside

If you are standing still on a crossroad

With your stresses and the heavy load

So confused, can’t chose which way you’d go

Lost in your thoughts, the outlet you don’t know

I believe that you still can go on unharmed

With your sweet smile and your unique charm

But if you need a hand to guide you through

Will make a new road for you and will take you

Cause’ you know I will be there around you

I will be next to you and will comfort you

I will take your hand and say I care

You are a special one, you’re so dear

I will keep the moment alive, I promise I will do all right

And together we will survive, through the brightest light

I will be around if you feel so tired

Can’t move on with the feet so dire

Yes I will be at your side

And I will just stay beside

I will stay near you every moment of your bad years

Will soothe you, ease you and dry up all your tears

I will take your hand and call your name

Hope you understand and feel the same

Cause’ you know I will be there around you

I will be next to you and will comfort you

I will take your hand and say I care

You are a special one, you’re so dear

May 28th, 2008, it was revolutionarily the most important and the most awaited day in the history of my small Himalayan country Nepal. It was scheduled to hold the first Constituent Assembly Meeting at eleven in the morning. They were to declare the nation a Federal Democratic Republican State. All the optimistic people were waiting to hear the announcement that they have been waiting for a long time. It seemed that they wanted to hear the declaration of the transformation of the country for what they had given all their days and nights, mind and might, sweat and blood and heart and soul in other to live life in a better condition and to ensure the basic human rights such as freedom of expression, easy access of basic health wealth and education and above all the dire need of the PEACE. A peaceful environment to live on was the main priority to all those weak, sick, poor and hungry people of the geographically diverse beautiful green and white country that has the pride of being the highest peak of the world.

Well they were all left disappointed as the meeting was not held at eleven. It was said that due to the disagreement on some major political issues among the large parties the assembly was postponed. I know that the management of such huge political matters would be naturally not every one’s cup of tea and is complicated and complex thing to be short out easily. But the carrying out of commitment and the time discipline are also remarkable characters that these clumsy leaders should possess for all the people to follow. Leaders lead and the rest follow it is natural. Was it the hustle and bustle after the chairs these power hungry leaders were up to, only they and the God above knows. An awful massage went out to the world.

All agitated people got down onto streets and went around the cities, towns or villages locally all over the disturbed nation, and again some died in confrontations. Was it worth lives of needy and underprivileged? They are the one placed in front. Still there is no answer. How many lives it would take in the name of revolution? Are we to count more? It has already taken more than 15,000 lives and the change is still hesitating to come on our way. Someone put an end to it. But who will do that there still is no answer. There are plenty of questions that have no answers since the revolutionary process has no other way to move ahead. Mr. Mahatma Gandhi in
India and Mr. Nelson Mandela in South Africa tried their best peacefully and were successful for some extent. Non-violence movements were at time victorious. Well revolution is the movement that time and again gets its constituency in the history of every country in the world. It goes on and on after a certain period of time for there always be hungry innocents and power hungry leaders.

Though this once in a life time event has its brighter side too. It has claimed its victory over the 240 year old discredited institution of monarchy which has been disgracefully ruling on the graceful and beautiful country. It was said that the movement was amongst the most peaceful in the history of revolution or power transformation in the world and the shortest one. Besides it was, during the progress, the incredible fusion between the leftists and the rightists.

In the other hand we should thank the leaders though whatever type they are. Their leadership and more than that the sacrifice of life by the martyrs brought the alteration in the country. Thank you all.

Well the agitation was soothed down late at the evening when it was all done at around
11 pm. As it was consented among the political parties the agenda of Federal Democratic Republic was decided to implement. It was a great moment in our life. It was one moment in one era as running Primer Minister Mr. Girija Prasad emotionally remarked in his speech. All what is done tuned out to be a fruitful one.

It is done, but it needs to be carried out, implementation is another challenge for us all.
